Description
The FOXBORO FBM201 P0914SQ is an analog input interface module that provides eight channels for input of analog sensor signals. The module is designed for use in the FOXBORO I/A Series System, and can be used to interface a variety of analog sensors, such as 4-20 mA transmitters, 0-5 V transmitters, and self-powered 20 mA sources.Each analog input channel on the FBM201 P0914SQ is galvanically isolated from other channels and ground. This isolation helps to protect the module from electrical noise and interference. The module also has a compact, rugged design that is suitable for enclosure in Class G3 (harsh) environments.The FBM201 P0914SQ executes an analog input application program that provides conversion time and configurable options for integration time and Rate of Change Limits. The module also achieves high accuracy by using sigma-delta data conversions for each channel.Termination Assemblies (TAs) are available for locally or remotely connecting field wiring to the FBM201 P0914SQ module. TAs are also available for per channel internally and/or externally loop powered transmitters.
