Description
DescriptionThe 3500/50 Tachometer Module is a 2-channel module designed to monitor and measure shaft rotative speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction using inputs from proximity probes or magnetic pickups (with exceptions as noted). It compares these measurements against user-programmable alarm setpoints and triggers alarms when setpoints are exceeded. Configuration is performed using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software, and the module offers four configurable options:
Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Speed Band Alarming.
Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Zero Speed Notification.
Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Rotor Acceleration Alarming.
Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Reverse Rotation Notification.
